Nancy Ragonese, based in Aiken, South Carolina, is a passionate advocate for sustainable tourism and community development. A University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in Business Administration, she founded Palmetto Pathways in 2010, launching initiatives like the “Harvest to Market” festival and “Ride Aiken” equestrian program to boost the local economy.

Committed to Aiken’s equestrian and conservation heritage, Nancy volunteers with the SPCA Albrecht Center and the Aiken Land Conservancy. She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and photography. She lives on a family farm with her husband, Michael, their children, Emma and Jackson, and their rescue dog, Willow.

Honored with the Aiken Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Award, Nancy embraces the motto, “Grow where you are planted,” as she continues to support her community’s growth.
